We welcome our members to visit at any time while the museum is open to the public! However, we will not be able to accommodate public entry when the museum has scheduled a large group visit or is closed for special circumstances. Please call ahead.

Here are some guidelines to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience:

• Masking Guidance: The Children’s Museum is always striving to maintain the best experience we can for our visitors, guests, and staff. To that end, we will CONTINUE TO require masks for all patrons and staff over the age of 2 to be worn in our facilities. Vaccinated patrons ONLY may remove their masks outdoors if ample social distancing is observed. Masks must continue to be worn during visits, programs, and events on-site at The Children’s Museum, our Preschool, and Roaring Brook Nature Center. We are maintaining our masking policy as the majority of those who participate in our activities and visit our sites are too young to be vaccinated at this time.

We understand that there have been rapid changes in guidance from the state and federal levels. At this time, we are making this decision as a business. This decision supports the safety of a vulnerable part of the population, as well as those they come in contact with.

• Additional hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout your tour of the museum. You are encouraged to use them frequently!
• In order to make sure we can effectively monitor social distancing please maintain a one-way flow of traffic and maintain proper social distancing while visiting the museum.
